2010… the year of artist albums. Markus Schulz ‘Do You Dream?’ is releasing soon; Armin van Buuren is putting the last touches to his album; Gareth Emery’s first is due out later this year; and something totally not Trance-related, Roxanne Emery’s solo/artist album is due as well. I’m happy to say I’ve been a Trance [...]
DJ Laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaange. I was able to catch DJ Lange for the first time at Ferry Corsten’s Once Upon A Night at the Palladium in Hollywood back in April. I unfortunately missed most of Lange’s set because I arrived late and it took a bit to get in. It was great to see a DJ I’ve [...]
So I managed to catch 2 out of 3 DJ sets of Gareth Emery here in Socal. I technically could have attended the one in San Diego but the drive was a bit too far and I don’t have that much money to spend. XD Mr. Emery is amazing as always. Another good set at [...]
About a week ago my bF had a dream that we were one of the 3rd place winners for an event hosted by the Gareth Emery team. The event consisted of tickets being given away for attendence to Gareth Emery’s first RAIN Nightclub gig in Las Vegas. 1st place being a nice package and 3rd [...]
Okay I didn’t really molest Gareth Emery. It’s my way of joking about my most awesome encounter with him. The Friday of the week I arrived in London for my 2-week holiday. I wanted to go to the Ministry of Sound. As a Trance lover how can you not visit the Ministry amirite? Unfortunately, my [...]
I’m glad I didn’t talk myself out of seeing Ferry Corsten at Vanguard. My sister and I had to get their early to get our guestlist discount in case there was a crowd. A little after 9:30PM there was a line that we probably waited 15 minutes for. There were like 5 people in front [...]
Last Saturday on May 2, 2009, Chris, Nic, my sister and I went to Circus Disco. I wanted to see Jaren as it was Cerf, Mitsika and Jaren headlining that night. We were inside the club and one point these 2 ladies walk by and stand next to my sister looking at the DJ stage. [...]
On Saturday April 11, 2009 I went to see Armin van Buuren’s gig at Vanguard, a club in Hollywood. I preordered my tickets weeks ahead of time. Earlier that week I saw Armin at Red in Newport Beach. I arrived at Vanguard after paying $10 for parking less than half a block away from the [...]
Last night I saw Armin van Buuren live for the first time at Red Nightclub in Newport Beach. My sister and I got up right in front of the DJ stage so I can snag lots of pictures of Armin. While the first DJ was playing this fatty kept rubbing up against me while she [...]
I just caught ATB’s 4th coming album, Future Memories, on preview on MySpace. I don’t like the first track so much because it sounds really ‘pop-y’. I don’t like the feel it gives me and it reminded me why I like trance, not that pop-y shit. Anyways, the whole mix is great. :}
